Keep your SHA payments flowing

The Provider Portal is closing. From 1 September 2026, claims only move through a DHA-certified HMIS. FlowMed migrates your facility in three weeks — records, rate cards, and claims intact.

The RUPHA checklist

How many can you tick today?

This is what SHA and DHA expect of every private facility before the deadline — days from now. Tick what you already have. FlowMed closes whatever's left.

Is your facility ready?

From the RUPHA stakeholder briefing, July 2026. Item 1 quotes that briefing; RUPHA's “or certifying” wording is administrative, not a provision of LN 76/2025. FlowMed itself is not yet certified — see the FAQ.

0 of 5 ticked.

FlowMed is the system of record for item 5 and gives you the processing record and audit trail your DPIA needs for item 2. Items 1, 3 and 4 are yours to hold — and on item 1, FlowMed is not yet certified.

Close the gaps before the deadline
What you actually get

Everything the deadline demands, in one system

Each promise below maps to a pillar of the DHA certification framework — so the records those pillars ask for come out of running your facility, not out of extra work.

Run the whole facility

OPD, IPD, pharmacy, lab, maternity, theatre, billing — 20+ modules, one patient record, verified against 85+ real SHA claim scenarios.

DHA pillar: Functionality

Pass every audit

ODPC-registered, DPIA completed, audit trails on every record, disaster recovery tested at RTO 4h / RPO 24h. Your Data Protection Act obligations, handled.

DHA pillar: Security, Privacy & Confidentiality

Report without the scramble

MoH registers and DHIS2/KHIS reports generated from live clinical data. Real-time remittance visibility on every claim.

DHA pillar: Reporting & Public Health Alerts

Connect to the national platform

FHIR R4 SHA eClaims in production, KMHFL registry mapping, national HIE readiness — the connection your next SHA contract requires.

DHA pillar: Information Exchange & Interoperability

Never lose a claim to the two-week time-bar

Returned claims must be corrected and resubmitted within 14 days — or they're rejected forever. FlowMed auto-corrects and resubmits inside the window, escalates disputes, and builds the clean compliance history SHA's advance-payment model rewards.

  • Automatic variance detection and tiered resolution on returned claims
  • Auto-resubmission with corrections inside the time-bar window
  • Ageing reports so nothing slips

Week 3 — Go live

Parallel run alongside your old process, then cutover — live before 1 September 2026.

Questions facilities ask us

No — not yet. FlowMed's Digital Health Agency application (APP-2026-6T0H9R, category EHR/HMIS — Hospital-wide) was approved for field testing on 14 August 2026. Field-test approval is not certification. The Agency has not issued FlowMed a certificate of compliance. Regulation 37(1) of the Digital Health (Health Information Management Procedures) Regulations, 2025 provides that a health facility shall not use a digital health solution in the provision of healthcare services unless that solution has been certified by the Agency, and the transitional provision in Regulation 45 applies only to solutions already in use before 11 April 2025. What that means for your facility's own position is a matter for you and your advisers. We will tell you in writing the day certification issues.

Private facilities without a DHA-certified HMIS default to the government's Taifa Care system, and facilities must be connected to the HIE before their next SHA contract. Migrating early protects your SHA reimbursements and your workflows.

Yes — claims are generated from clinical activity, submitted via FHIR R4 eClaims, tracked through payment, and automatically corrected and resubmitted when returned. PHC, SHIF, and FFS schemes are all supported.

Transparent KES pricing with migration assistance included. Start your migration and we'll scope your facility — most Level 2–4 facilities go live in under three weeks.

Application APP-2026-6T0H9R
Approved for field testing on 14 August 2026, in the category EHR/HMIS — Hospital-wide.
Certificate of compliance
Not granted. Field-test approval is a stage in the process under Regulation 40; it is not certification, and we do not describe it as one.
What the regulations say
Regulation 37(1) of the Digital Health (Health Information Management Procedures) Regulations, 2025 provides that a healthcare provider or health facility shall not use a digital health solution in the provision of healthcare services unless the solution has been certified by the Agency. The transitional provision in Regulation 45 applies only to solutions already being provided before 11 April 2025.
What that means for you
Your facility's own compliance position before certification issues is a matter for you and your legal advisers. We are not in a position to advise you on it and we will not tell you it is settled. We will notify you in writing on the day certification issues.
